On October 26, 2009 the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal Dinner benefiting the Municipal Art Society of New York was held at the New York Public Library. Each year the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Medal is presented to an individual whose work and deeds have made outstanding contributions to the city of New York. This year's honorees were Peter L. Malkin and Robert A.M. Stern.
