Play to Win! KiDS Family Bowling Party, Jan 29, 2012
On Sunday, January 29, 2012, KiDS of NYU Langone Foundation hosted its 6th annual KiDS Play to Win! Family Bowling Party at Chelsea Piers. With over 350 guests in attendance, the event raised $90,000 to enhance children’s medical care at NYU Langone Medical Center. Friends and families of all ages enjoyed bowling, face-painting, caricaturists, balloon sculptures, and more. The event was co-chaired by Lisa Anderson, Abigail Scheuer Atema, Gabrielle Gold-von Simson, MD, MSc, Alexis Mintz, David Salsberg, PsyD, Britt Szostak and Michael Weaver.
Tuesday, April 3, KiDS will host the KiDS is Blooming! Springfling Gala The Plaza Hotel. The event will honor Jeffrey C. Allen, MD, The Otto and Marguerite Manley and Making Headway Foundation Professor of Pediatric Neuro-Oncology, Director of Pediatric and Adult Neuro-Oncology Programs and Director of the Neurofibromatosis Center at NYU Langone.
