“CTFD’s annual pre-gala luncheon took place on June 17 at Sardi’s Restaurant and was kicked-off by a Gala Chairs meeting in which lots of fun ideas were bounced around for the upcoming event on October 6. The luncheon, attended by ROLEX, CTFD patrons and friends, and 29th Anniversary Chairs, Anka K. Palitz, Susan & Stewart Wicht, generated much excitement for the Gala! An added delight was having TV’s So You Think You Can Dance judge Adam Shankman plus Tony Award winners Tommy Tune and Karen Ziemba join in the festivities. Christian Zimmermann, a transitioned dancer-client with the help of CTFD, shared his transition story. Gianni Russo provided the wine. Proudly on display was CTFD’s 2013 Tony Award for Excellence in the Theatre.”
