Last Wednesday evening (May 7th) J.McLaughlin, on Lexington Avenue and 72nd St., hosted a book signing party for The Charleston Academy of Domestic Pursuits co-authored by Suzanne Pollak and Lee Manigault aka The Deans. The event was co-hosted by Karen Klopp, Elizabeth Mayhew and Pamela Taylor and a percentage of the sales benefited the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Guests enjoyed shopping and mingling with the authors while enjoying the “Billionaire Bacon” from Swifty’s before all the books were sold. Welcoming the crowd was co-founder Kevin McLaughlin and his wife Barbara along with Steve Siegler, President and CEO of J.McLaughlin.
