On Saturday, May 5, the Junior Committee of the Soldiers’ Sailors’ Marine’s Coast Guard’s and Airmen’s Club held their 9th Annual Kentucky Derby Brunch. As always, guest dressed to impress with their fascinators and bow ties as they enjoyed southern food catered by Southern Hospitality. The guests also enjoyed mint juleps, the official cocktail of the Kentucky Derby. After a fierce hat and bow tie contest that involved a promenade around the club, it was time to watch the most exciting 2 minutes in sports where Justify went home with the roses.
